The objective of the course “Privacy and Security Basics” is to provide the participants the working knowledge they need on information security and privacy that they need on their day-to-day living. 


By the end of the course, participants will have gained basic knowledge on proper terminologies and working insights to assess privacy and security risks that will impact themselves, their families and the organization that they are connected.

This course is designed for a diverse range of individuals from different backgrounds who wants to have a working knowledge on security and privacy.

  • Students and Educators: Anyone who are enrolled in any course or in a teaching capacity that exposes them to big data or were experiencing processing data sets.
  • Switchers: Anyone who were trying to venture into a new career like IT, Data Science, Data Processing, Data Security and Privacy.
  • Working Professionals: Anyone who may have heard of these terminologies but does not have a working knowledge on privacy and security.

And basically, to anyone who are curious enough to know what privacy and security is all about so that you are able to align you practices, current knowledge and vision for this ever expanding domain of learning.

How do I access courses on the LMS?

After logging in, you'll see a list of available courses on your dashboard. Click on a course to access its content, including modules, videos, assignments, and quizzes.

Can I take courses on any device?

Yes, our LMS is responsive and works on various devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

How do I enroll in a course?

If you're a student, your courses might be assigned by an instructor. If you're a corporate user, courses can be assigned by your administrator. Simply click on the course to enroll.

How are assessments conducted?

Assessments can include quizzes, assignments, and exams. You'll find instructions within each course on how to complete them.

How do I track my progress?

Your progress is automatically tracked as you complete modules, quizzes, and assignments. You can view your progress on your dashboard or course page.
